my kids or guests that this cake is made with Beans. I saw the recipe at The Accidental Huswife and just had to try it. It looks good and smells good. We will be eating it tomorrow when friends come to play board games, so fingers crossed.
The cake was eaten with enthusiasm, I found the cake not sweet and frosted it with a old family recipe for chocolate frosting that is very sweet. Not a great choice. I am thinking about trying again with some applesauce replacing the eggs to up the sweetness and maybe increasing the honey.
